
The nationwide Good Governance Week “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” continued into its third day in Budgam today, with the District Administration further scaling up people centric initiatives aimed at strengthening transparency, accountability and efficient service delivery at the grassroots level across the district.
On the third day, the District Administration organised extensive grievance redressal and public facilitation camps at various Blocks and panchayat halqas. These camps focused on the effective disposal of both fresh and long pending grievances received through online portals as well as offline modes. Officers from concerned departments ensured time bound and on spot redressal of issues, providing relief to a large number of citizens.
Special emphasis was laid on saturation drives of various beneficiary oriented schemes, ensuring that all eligible individuals are covered under social security and welfare programmes. Awareness and facilitation sessions were also conducted to promote the use of online public service delivery platforms, enabling citizens to access government services in a transparent and hassle-free manner.
Officials from multiple line departments held interactive sessions with the public, addressing issues and providing guidance related to Mission YUVA, PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, social welfare schemes, livelihood initiatives and other flagship government programmes. These interactions fostered direct communication between the administration and the people, strengthening trust and responsiveness.
