District Administration Udhampur today organized the district-level inaugural function of the Vande Mataram Phase-II programme under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai.

The programme was presided over by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr. Umesh Shan and attended by PO Poshan, Subash Dogra, district officers, prominent citizens, staff and students from educational institutions.

Addressing the gathering, the ACR expressed gratitude to all participants. He informed that the second phase of the week-long celebrations marking 150 years of the National Song Vande Mataram shall feature a series of activities and programmes across the district to create awareness about different government schemes and foster a patriotic spirit.

He urged the stakeholders to actively participate in the celebrations, reflecting the true spirit of India’s unity, diversity and nationalism.

The Brahmrishi Bawra Shanti Vidya Peeth presented the National Song Vande Mataram to mark the launch of the Phase-II activities.
