Srinagar, August 11: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday described his participation in the Tiranga Yatra in Srinagar as a “truly historic day” and said the national flag represents the collective strength, unity and patriotism of the country.

In a post on X, Sinha said he was proud to join the Tiranga Yatra and address people in Srinagar, adding that the Tricolour was flying high and Vande Mataram resonated across the city.

He said the national flag embodies the shared strength and unwavering patriotic spirit of the people.

The Tiranga Yatra was organised in Srinagar as part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign ahead of the Independence Day celebrations.
