J&K LG Manoj Sinha, CM Omar Abdullah Extend Teachers’ Day Greetings

Srinagar, Sep 5: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday extended greetings to the teaching fraternity on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.

In his message, LG Manoj Sinha paid tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary and praised his contributions as an educationist, philosopher and former President of India.

“Heartiest greetings to the teachers on Teachers’ Day. Humble tributes to the great educationist, philosopher, and former President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Ji, on his Janm-Jayanti. His exemplary life and visionary work continue to be a guiding light for generations to come,” the LG said.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also extended warm greetings to teachers, appreciating their dedication and selfless service in shaping young minds and contributing to the nation's future.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to strengthening the education system and creating an environment in which teachers can continue to inspire, guide and prepare young people for a brighter future.
