Budgam, Sep 9: Children from different parts of the valley are actively participating in sports activities and are seen participating in various events.School level children in all the districts of the valley are seen busy showing their talent. On the other hand, Competitions are also underway at the Inter-district level by the Youth Services and Sports Department.The Inter District Level Wushu Under-17 and Under-19 Boys Category Competitions started in Sports Stadium Budgam and were Inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner of the district,Athar Aamir Khan (IAS), in the presence of Senior Officials of the Sports Department.

On this occasion, the children were urged to participate in sports competitions and emphasized the importance of sports in playing a good role among the youth and appreciated the organizers, officials and the Sports Department for the wonderful organization and success of the championship. On the opening day, the boys were seen demonstrating their performance, attacking each other fiercely and trying hard to take the lead and win, which excited the rest of the boys to show their sportsmanship.It is worth noting that a large number of boys participated in this event and these Inter District Level events will continue in Sports Stadium till the 20th of this month.
