In Nagaland, a free medical camp was organised at Zapami village, where residents received health check-ups, essential medicines and medical consultations. The medical team also conducted awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition and preventive healthcare, encouraging villagers to adopt healthier practices and remain alert to common health risks.

In a separate incident in Manipur’s Churachandpur district, Assam Rifles personnel provided timely emergency medical assistance to a 50-year-old farmer who suffered a snakebite.
Troops administered life-saving first aid and stabilised the farmer before facilitating his prompt evacuation to the District Hospital for further treatment. The swift response was crucial in ensuring that the victim received specialised medical care without unnecessary delay.
