May 01, 2026 | BK News Service

Mon , April 30 : Assam Rifles organised a special documentary screening titled “War, Love and Life Choices” for students in Tizit area of Mon district, aimed at inspiring youth in remote and border regions to pursue disciplined and purposeful life paths.

The event, held on April 29, 2026, brought together a large number of students from the local area. The documentary showcased the life journey of the Army Chief, focusing on key themes of leadership, sacrifice, resilience, and commitment to national service. It also highlighted the significance of military operations such as Operation Sindoor, underlining the challenges and responsibilities faced by armed forces personnel.
Officials stated that the screening was designed not only as an awareness initiative but also as a motivational platform to help students understand the value of discipline, hard work, and informed life choices. The narrative aimed to connect real-life military experiences with broader lessons on character-building and decision-making.
Following the screening, an interactive session was conducted where students actively engaged with Assam Rifles personnel. Discussions focused on resilience in adversity, career opportunities in defence services, and the importance of structured education pathways such as Sainik Schools.
Students raised questions about recruitment processes, training, and life in the armed forces, which were addressed in detail by the officials. The interaction helped bridge the gap between youth aspirations and available opportunities in national service.
Assam Rifles reiterated that such initiatives form part of its broader outreach efforts in border and remote regions, with the aim of fostering national pride, discipline, and awareness among young minds.
The programme concluded with a message encouraging students to pursue meaningful goals and contribute positively to society, while exploring avenues in defence and other nation-building sectors.
