Army Commander Northern Command Chairs Joint Control Centres Meeting to Review Security Scenario

Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command (ArmyCdrNC), today chaired a high-level meeting of the Joint Control Centres to assess the evolving security landscape in the region.During the meeting, detailed and focused deliberations were held with all stakeholders on key security aspects. Special emphasis was laid on strengthening the intelligence grid, enhancing coordination among various agencies, and ensuring the optimum utilisation of available resources.
The discussions also centered around further reinforcing the counter-terrorism framework to effectively deal with emerging challenges and maintain a robust security environment. The Army Commander stressed the importance of synergy, real-time information sharing, and proactive measures to ensure peace and stability in the region.
Lt Gen Pratik Sharma reiterated the commitment of the Armed Forces and associated agencies towards maintaining a strong and responsive counter-terrorism grid, aimed at safeguarding the region and ensuring the safety of its citizens.
