January 21: Ahead of Republic Day celebrations, Srinagar Police have intensified security and checking measures across the city to ensure a safe and incident-free observance.
Police personnel have been deployed at strategic locations, with special checkpoints, mobile patrols, night patrols, and surprise inspections to maintain vigilance and deter any threats to public order.
Additional deployments have been made in sensitive areas, and senior officers are personally supervising arrangements to ensure smooth implementation of the security plan.
The public has been urged to cooperate with police during checks and report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station or control room. J&K Police reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding citizens and ensuring Republic Day is celebrated peacefully.
