Bandipora, Sep 8: Bandipora has got its first-ever youth-led readers’ club with the launch of Wular Readers, an initiative founded by 22-year-old author and youth achiever Nazrana Ahsan.

Launched on June 20, Wular Readers seeks to bring young people together through books, meaningful conversations and creative activities, while promoting positive company and constructive engagement.
The club has already conducted four sessions, creating a vibrant space for young people to read, exchange ideas, explore their creativity and connect with like-minded individuals. Its activities combine literature, poetry, art, writing and thoughtful discussions, reflecting its vision of making learning and creativity a shared experience.
Through Wular Readers, Ahsan aims to build a community where young people can engage with new ideas, discover their creative potential and make meaningful use of their time.
Ahsan herself has an impressive record of achievements. She is the author of five books, a two-time national medalist in martial arts and a two-time national achiever in public speaking. She has also worked as an anchor and columnist and is a recipient of the DG Medallion.
The readers’ club is envisioned as more than a platform for reading. It seeks to nurture curiosity, creativity and confidence among young people by providing them with a space to learn, share perspectives and build meaningful connections.
