Tribute to Pulwama martyrs at LSC in Muzaffarpur

Muzaffarpur, Feb 14: A solemn tribute ceremony was organized at the historic Langat Singh College on Saturday to honor the memory of the immortal martyrs of the Pulwama terror attack. The event, held under the aegis of the college’s NCC unit, was presided over by Principal Prof. Kanupriya.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Kanupriya emphasized that the secure environment citizens breathe in today is solely due to the indomitable courage and supreme sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces. She noted that a true tribute would entail citizens moving beyond self-interest to think for the nation.Prof. Kanupriya further stated that it is the fundamental duty of every citizen to strengthen the country through their individual actions. She urged the students to realize the true value of freedom and take a collective pledge to ensure that no action of theirs ever compromises the dignity of the nation or the honor of its soldiers.
NCC Officer Dr. Rajiv Kumar spoke at length regarding the military and national significance of the incident.The ceremony commenced with the Principal and faculty members offering floral tributes to the martyrs, followed by a two-minute silence observed by all attendees to pray for the peace of the departed souls.Prominent faculty members present on the occasion included Dr. Reema Kumari, Dr. Ved Prakash Dubey, Dr. Alok Kumar, Dr. Manibhushan, Dr. Gautam Kumar, Dr. Santosh Anal, Dr. Navin Kumar, Dr. Deepak Kumar, and Dr. Pradeep Kumar, among others.
