A proud moment for the sports fraternity of Jammu & Kashmir, as ten officials from the Union Territory have successfully qualified the Referee Course Examination conducted by the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, in May 2025.
The successful candidates are: Arshid Rather, Firdous Rather, Nahida Nabi, Ram Kumar, Gourav Dubai, Mir Alam, Majid Khan, Nuzarat Hussain, Tanveer Iqbal, & Anita Sharma. Their achievement represents a significant stride toward enhancing the standard of officiating & strengthening technical expertise in Kabaddi across the region.
This accomplishment not only reflects the growing enthusiasm for Kabaddi in Jammu & Kashmir but also underscores the unwavering commitment of local talent to excel on the National Stage.
