A teacher is a hero for the students. Students blindly trust on teacher, that he cannot do any wrong. Sometimes even the teacher give corporal punishment to student or students ,for a while the students get hurt by the corporal punishment give to them by the teacher, but the biggest and most displeasing act which hurts a student is Teacher Favouritism.
Teacher Favouritism can be defined as the act of giving special or preferential treatment to a particular student in the class. It is a type of bias .A teacher should be uniform in all his activities and methods. The factors that give birth to teacher Favouritism is the intelligence of a student or family relations of a teacher with the student.
It create bias and delinquency among the other students. They rest of the class become very jealous towards that student who receives special treatment from teacher.
One such example of most annoying type of Favouritism is when a student get punishment for incomplete home assignment while the favoured one just receive a warning.
The objective of teacher should be the academic and mental development of students but this evil of Favouritism push them on back foot, what can we expect from the students where care and knowledge is unequally distributed.it has life long indelible imprints on the student's life and mentality. This may increase the case of wastages and drop-outs, when the student feel neglected and insulted on the small mistake while as favoured one receives just warning on big blunder.
Present day generation is know all the tact's of flatter, who to impress a teacher by false flatter, just a teacher uploads a picture on social media, the favoured one do some soulful comments to please the teacher, just to gain the attention of teacher but the Favouritism among the students is just like cutting steam a plant while watering the roots.
Many a times the the answer script of favoured student is checked by the teacher twice, so as to know not single Mark of favoured one should be left out. just go through the Google and self examine how Favouritism has ruined carrier of many students.
Teaching is a holy profession and we should be uniform both in curricular and co-curricular activities .we should take care about hard earned money of parents, which they pay in from of fee for their wards
TEACHER FAVOURITISM some time create Rift and conflict among the students in class. Although it is not bad that a teacher has one or many favourite students but not on the expenses of others. The favoured one nourish the same seeds in his mind and bring forth same fruits in the future. If parents adopt Favouritism among kids but a teacher should abstain from that.
A teacher should encourage the students who are lagging behind to develop a better nation. We are answerable before God ,and it is highest form of worship if we design the future of our kids in much better way. Best teacher is not only knowledgeable one or literate, many parameters are seen in a best teacher, and rule of law in class is one of them.
