
Kargil , Feb 6: SAI Sports Training Centre (STC) Kargil, Union Territory of Ladakh, put up an impressive performance at the All India Inter SAI Taekwondo Championship, held at Patna, Bihar, from 2nd to 4th February 2026, bringing pride and recognition to Ladakh at the national level.
A contingent of 17 athletes, including 9 girls and 8 boys, represented STC Kargil in the championship. Accompanied by Coach Mohd Ali, Coach Parveen Kumar, and Lady Warden Bilquess Banoo, the athletes demonstrated remarkable skill, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
With a stellar display, STC Kargil clinched the Best Participation Trophy and secured a total of 10 medals, comprising 1 Gold, 4 Silver, and 5 Bronze medals, reflecting the centre’s growing excellence in Taekwondo.
