Manipur, Feb 23: The Red Shield Division under Spear Corps, in collaboration with residents of the IDP Camp, Bishnupur, conducted a large-scale cleanliness drive at Loukoipat Lake to promote environmental awareness and responsibility.

Volunteers focused on clearing non-biodegradable waste, including plastics, wrappers, and other litter, from the lake and surrounding areas. The initiative aimed to restore the natural beauty of the lake while raising awareness about the importance of maintaining clean and sustainable ecosystems.
Residents actively participated alongside army personnel, highlighting community engagement in preserving local water bodies. The drive also emphasized proper waste disposal and the environmental impact of plastic pollution.
