New Delhi, Aug 2: Continuing its efforts to inspire and empower young people across the Northeast, Spear Corps formations organised a series of outreach programmes in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur, focusing on motivation, career guidance, skill development and military awareness.

As part of the initiative, the Dao Division organised "A Day with Soldiers" at Hayuliang in Arunachal Pradesh, giving students a unique opportunity to experience military life firsthand.
The programme featured a wreath-laying ceremony to instil respect for the nation's fallen heroes, followed by motivational interactions with Army personnel. Students also witnessed drone flying demonstrations and watched an inspirational film showcasing the values of discipline, patriotism and service to the nation.
In Nagaland, the Assam Rifles conducted a 15-day Pre-Recruitment Training Programme at Peren for aspiring youth preparing to join the Armed Forces. The training focused on enhancing physical fitness, improving confidence and equipping participants with the skills required for military recruitment.
Meanwhile, in Bishnupur district of Manipur, the Assam Rifles organised an interactive youth session centred on career counselling, skill development, social awareness and guidance for recruitment into the Armed Forces.
The participants were encouraged to adopt discipline, perseverance and a positive outlook while exploring career opportunities in the defence services and other sectors.
Officials said the outreach initiatives were aimed at motivating the youth, strengthening their confidence and encouraging them to contribute positively to society while opening new avenues for personal and professional growth.
The programmes witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and young aspirants, reaffirming the commitment of the Indian Army and Assam Rifles to youth empowerment, nation-building and community engagement across the Northeast.
