Northeast, Oct 2: Formations under the Spear Corps observed National Voluntary Blood Donation Day by organising blood donation drives and medical outreach programmes across Manipur, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh, reaffirming their commitment to community welfare and humanitarian assistance.
As part of the initiative, troops donated blood at the District Hospital in Tamenglong, Manipur, and the Blood Centre of Naga Hospital Authority Kohima in Nagaland. The drives aimed to support local blood banks and help meet the requirements of patients in need.

Through blood donation, healthcare assistance and community outreach, the formations under Spear Corps continue to contribute to public welfare and strengthen bonds with local residents.
The initiatives underscored the security forces’ continued focus on humanitarian assistance, healthcare access and community well-being across the northeastern region.
