The six selected scholars, comprising four undergraduate and two postgraduate students, will undertake research internships at three leading universities in Taiwan, viz National Changhua University of Education (NCUE), National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), and National Dong Hwa University (NDHU). During the internship, they will work in advanced research laboratories, interact with internationally acclaimed scientists, gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies and contribute towards strengthening academic and research collaborations between SKUAST-K and Taiwanese institutions.
The selected students are Dhirender and Navneet Singh from the Faculty of Horticulture, who will pursue research at NCUE; Nitish Kumar, Kartik Duneria and Fatima Jaan, who have been selected for NPUST; and Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who will undertake his internship at NDHU.
