
A two-day orientation programme on professional development and office procedures for administrative staff commenced today at Vice Chancellor's Secretariat, Main Campus Shalimar, Srinagar.
The programme aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of non-teaching staff, enabling them to efficiently handle administrative tasks and contribute to the university's growth in Teaching, Research, Extension, and Innovation.
The orientation programme covers office procedures, communication skills, data management, confidentiality protocols, University Act and Statutes, J&K CSR/leave rules, and J&K Govt. Employees Conduct Rules1971, besides soft skills and life lessions. Experts and senior administrators led sessions and interactive discussions.
Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganai, chaired the inaugural session as the Chief Guest and other officers attended include, Director Research, Dr. H.R. Naik; Director Education, Prof. Altaf Ahmad Bhat; Registrar, and other senior officials of the University.
