DIG CKR Srinagar Shri Rajiv Pandey-IPS accompanied by DIG North CRPF Shri Sudhir Kumar and SSP Ganderbal Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS visited base camp for checking the pace of arrangements for J&K Police and CAPF at Baltal Base Camp and Yatra Track from Domail to holy cave.

During the visit, DIG CKR held thread-bare discussion with the senior officers of District Police and CAPF regarding smooth conduct of the forthcoming Amarnath Ji Yatra-2024. The detailed security review and arrangements of all the pivotal locations en-route including Transit Camps, especially Base Camp Baltal and Domail were taken into the consideration. Senior officers of the District were also briefed to take the various arrangements into consideration for JK Police & other CAPF at every level.

Moreover, special emphasis was given to the Yatra Track from Domail to the holy Cave. Further, DIG CKR directed the senior officers to ensure that all the special arrangements for smooth Amarnath Ji Yatra-2024 shall be done in time.
