Bandipora, Feb 15: SANKALP-HEW Bandipora organised an awareness programme on skill development at Athwatoo, Block Bonakoot, aimed at educating youth and women about vocational training and government initiatives for employability and self-reliance.

Participants were briefed on short- and long-term courses in trades such as tailoring, computer applications, beauty and wellness, electrical work, handicrafts, and entrepreneurship development. Gender and financial literacy specialists guided attendees on leveraging these opportunities to achieve financial independence and contribute positively to society.
An interactive session addressed queries, and pamphlets detailing the role of SANKALP-HEW were distributed to encourage wider participation in skill-building programmes.
