One thing that is great and fortunate for the Kashmir valley is that we are living in the extreme North region of the world so we have extreme cold weather conditions here. Like the harsh period of chillai kalaan from the 21st of December to ending January. The temperature dips up to minus 15 degrees. We don't feel such a hard time because we have preparations like timber ovens in upper reaches and Hammams in our homes. Winters are quite pleasant and endowed in Kashmir valley when the forest looks whitish and lofty mountains define the beauty of nature all around.
But with the arrival of summer. Summers mostly start from the 21st of June to the 21st of September every year.
From June to ending July Kashmir Valley experiences scorching heat. Mostly in cities. So the people of urban areas have do not adequate facilities they relax during late hours in the public parks because the government has developed most of the area for commercial means like parking etc.
Even the government may construct parks at every municipal ward level or as per population with no entry fee. Like cities one the famous parks where in 90's the adjoining people like Half Chinar, Solina, Sarai Bala etc used to govt to the Iqbal park and feel relaxed during scoring heat due to its vast space and just a few kilometers away from Zabarwan mountains. Now the Iqbal park offers entry fees from the locals as well as from the tourists. We need peace, not such kind of development where people feel inferior complex by their financial conditions.
The young and adults of the cities rush towards villages where they meet clear crystal water bodies and they bathe during the daytime when there is scoring heat and get respite from it. In the upper reaches of the valley almighty bestow giant clear crystal water bodies, the source of water of the water bodies is purely glacier whey glaciers show an increase in melting the water bodies rush like some pushes them with giant motors.

Rising Drowning incidents in Kashmir valley. Why?

This is not new but very unfortunate because the same things repeatedly happen every year. It should not rise such incidents should be at zero level. If we have made efforts as early as possible but we take steps after tragedies whether they roads, connectivity bridges, electricity means etc.
With the arrival of peak summer, the government administration should ban bathing on open rivers in upper reaches like Shali Ganga Doodhpathri, lidder Pahalgam, Dal Lake in Srinagar, and Jehlum rivers flow from various districts of the valley.
Such incidents can be stopped and the drowning of minors may be minimized up to zero level. Like there should complete ban on bathing in open rivers in tourist spots. In case of any violation there should be punishment and such spots should be identified and kept under surveillance.
Swimming pools should be developed within the reach of the youth so that they learn to swim and enjoy safe bathing and such activities have great scope in water sports. There should be every individual who knows how to swim.
Bathing in water bodies. Polluting water bodies and offers pollutants towards there.
