Rajouri,, Nov 1: The District Rajouri Ball Badminton Association, in collaboration with the J&K Ball Badminton Association and under the aegis of the J&K Sports Council, is set to organise the District Rajouri Ball Badminton Championship for Boys & Girls 2026–27 in all age categories, including Mini, Sub-Junior, Junior, Youth and Senior.

The two-day championship will be held on November 09 and 10, 2026, at J&K Police Public School (DPL), Rajouri. The tournament is being organised by the District Rajouri Ball Badminton Association and sponsored by the J&K Sports Council, with the aim of promoting and developing Ball Badminton at the grassroots level and encouraging young sporting talent across the district.
All concerned clubs, schools, educational institutions and colleges in District Rajouri are invited to participate and submit their entries via WhatsApp or SMS by November 08, 2026. No entries will be accepted on the spot.
All matches will be played in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Ball Badminton Federation of India (BBFI). The draw for the championship will be held on November 09, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the competition venue.
The championship will also provide an opportunity to identify and select talented players from District Rajouri for participation in the upcoming J&K Union Territory Championship.
The organisers have appealed to all clubs, schools, institutions and colleges to ensure maximum participation and extend their cooperation in making the event a grand success. The initiative is expected to strengthen the sporting culture in the district and provide aspiring players with a platform to demonstrate their skills and potential.
