Prof. Dr. Majid Jehangir, who recently assumed charge as the Principal of Government Medical College Baramulla, along with Medical Superintendent associated hospital GMC, Dr. Parvaiz Masoodi, met with Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, to deliberate on enhancing health services and infrastructure at the institution.
The Principal presented a detailed outline of key initiatives, including the macadamization of internal roads, completion of the boundary wall construction, and other critical infrastructure projects.
He also emphasized the importance of addressing existing challenges to further improve healthcare delivery and medical education at GMC Baramulla.
DC Baramulla assured the Principal full support from the district administration and highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts to expedite the proposed developmental works.
He reiterated the administration’s commitment to providing better healthcare facilities and infrastructure for the benefit of students, staff, and the local community.
