Srinagar, Feb 21: A private employee sustained multiple injuries after falling from an electric pole while carrying out repair work in Sanat Nagar area of Srinagar on Saturday.

Sources said the incident occurred opposite the CRPF camp gate when the worker was repairing an electric wire. During the process, he reportedly lost balance and fell from the pole, resulting in serious injuries.
The injured was initially shifted to a nearby private medical facility for first aid and was later referred to the Shri Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital for specialized treatment.
He has been identified as Javid Ahmad Awan, 25, son of Ghulam Hassan, a resident of Uri. Hospital sources said he sustained multiple injuries and is undergoing treatment. Police have taken note of the incident.
