Awantipora, May 24: Under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, J&K Police continued its sustained efforts against drug abuse and narcotics related activities by conducting raids at multiple locations including Beighpora, Chersoo, Kawani and Rajpora areas of Awantipora to curb the menace of narcotics and identify individuals involved in illegal drug related activities.

Simultaneously, an awareness programme was organised at Khrew with the objective of educating people, particularly youth, about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraging community participation in creating a drug free society.
J&K Police reiterated its commitment towards making society drug free and urged citizens to cooperate and share information regarding drug related activities in their areas.
