Anantnag, Aug 29: Continuing its action against drug trafficking, Police in Anantnag apprehended a person during routine patrolling at Haji Mohalla Barariangan, Uttersoo.

The accused, identified as Hamid Farooq Dar son of Farooq Ahmad Dar resident of Brakpora, Anantnag, was apprehended by a police party of Police Station Uttersoo. During his search, Charas was recovered from his possession.
In this regard, FIR No. 88/2026 has been registered at Police Station Uttersoo, and investigation has been initiated.
