Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended his best wishes on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, which commemorates the birthday of prophet Muhammad, who founded Islam.
PM Modi said on X, “May this sacred day bring with it peace and well-being in our society. May the values of compassion, service and justice always guide us. Eid Mubarak!”
Eid-e-Milad un Nabi (SAW) would be celebrated in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
On the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha conveyed his best wishes to the citizens, urging them to draw inspiration from the noble teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Taking to X, the Office of the LG wrote that Prophet Muhammad (SAW’s) life continues to inspire generations towards compassion, kindness, and selflessness.
“May his eternal message strengthen unity, brotherhood and peace in society. Eid Mubarak!” Sinha said.
