
Srinagar, Feb 17: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed gratitude to Union Home Minister Amit Shah for reopening 14 tourist destinations in J&K that were closed after the Pahalgam terror attack in April last year.
“The local people have borne losses due to closures. Now, I hope visitors will return to these beautiful places,” Omar said. The reopened sites include 11 in Kashmir and three in Jammu.
He also criticized BJP leaders for discrepancies between their words and actions, alleging misallocation of funds by a party nominee in the Rajya Sabha.
