New Delhi, Aug 14: The spirit of patriotism swept across the Northeast as spirited Tiranga Marches, rallies, runs, cycle rallies and flag distribution drives were organised under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, bringing together soldiers, students and local communities ahead of Independence Day.

The celebrations were held at multiple locations across Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Assam, showcasing the region’s enthusiastic participation in the national campaign.
In Aalo, West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh, participants took part in Tiranga activities, carrying the national flag and spreading the message of unity and patriotism among the local community.
At Zorinpui in Mizoram, the campaign brought citizens together in a collective expression of national pride, with the Tricolour becoming the central symbol of the celebrations.
In Manipur, Tiranga programmes were organised at Khongsang, Dikuiram and Tamenglong, witnessing participation from people across different sections of society. The events highlighted the role of communities and youth in celebrating the country's national identity.
Similar programmes were held at Naginimora, Tening, Niuland and other locations in Nagaland, where rallies and flag-related activities encouraged greater public participation in the Independence Day celebrations.
In Dinjan, Assam, personnel and local citizens also joined the Tiranga activities, reinforcing the message of unity and shared national identity.
The programmes provided an opportunity for soldiers, students and civilians to come together, carrying the Tricolour and celebrating the values associated with India's Independence.
The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, through such grassroots activities, seeks to encourage citizens to display and engage with the national flag while fostering a sense of collective pride and participation in Independence Day celebrations.
