Now that the elections to the largest democracy has come to end successfully and the votes are sealed in the EVM’s .On 4th of June 2024,the votes for all the seven phases of voting will be counted and the outcome of the election will be out by the noon of the same day .The political parties ,people and the poll experts are eagerly and anxiously waiting for the results of the poll .People and the political parties will have to wait for knowing the results of the seven phase elections .It is in fact a very difficult and painful experience to wait for the final results of the counting .People and the political parties have to wait for the noon of 4th June to have the glimpses of the voting results and it will be clear by noon which party or combination of parties will win the elections and form the government at the centre.

People and the political parties will have to wait with a belated breath for knowing the results of the voting and people’s wait will be over on the noon of 4th June 2024.God should grant the people patience to endure the pain of waiting and the wait will be over on the day of counting and people as well as the political parties will come to know which party or combination of parties will gain access to the corridors of power .Some optimists say there is always a bit of magic waiting somewhere behind the morning ,the start of a new day .It has been said numerous times over the centuries that good things are worth waiting for .
Patience is a virtue ,and there is a reason –it is a tough skill to master .People and political parties cannot, but to wait the day of counting to get the view of who wins the election and later on forms the government. it is not that easy to wait the final outcome of the counting and the impatient wait will be over on the day of counting as the day advances ,the whole picture will become clear and the claims and counter claims of the political parties will stop with the win of the political combination and later on the new centre government will be formed. So for as the exit polls of various poll stars are concerned ,they have give a thumping majority to the NDA and as such a hat trick to Prime Minister Narendra Modi .
All the exit polls have predicted a comfortable win to NDA and thus the hopes of the INDI bloc seems to be falling like a house of cards .The wait of the people and political parties will be over on the day of counting and as the day will advance ,the whole picture will become crystal clear and the wait which is pinching will be over .Because all want immediate results ,no one likes waiting .All want to be prioritized them first .The need of the ours should be to compromise .The pain in waiting comes from two things ,the unknown ,and / or dealing with something we do not want to deal with in the first place. Think of waiting to meet the love of your life.
You might feel anxious ,but it is exciting. One reason why waiting can be so hard is that often the outcome of whatever we are waiting for determines our next steps .If we get the answers we are hoping for we celebrate and keep moving forward .If we receive news that is unwelcome and not what we had wanted ,we process the loss and disappointment and reroute Let us start by taking an inventory of all the things that we do not want to deal with ,but we do anyway .Think of all the situations you waited for anxiously and write them down .Some of the examples that crop up are as under---1 Waiting for a service person {plumber, electrician ,roofer} to come and deal with an issue.2-Waiting to drop off someone at the train station or airport.3-Waiting to see the doctor after a call about test results of loved one.4—Waiting to say goodbye to a loved one.5—Waiting to know if a stock transaction went through at a favorable price,6-Waiting for a response –email or phone about a repair ,recommendation I made or to check on my family.7—Waiting to go to a meeting or event. To alleviate the pain of waiting, we can work on the root cause –our reaction to uncertainty and unmet wants .
We feel as much alive experiencing pain as experiencing pleasure. When we stop avoiding pain ,we can live it ,till it lets go ,whether we are waiting or not .We must also learn to live with uncertainty .The more we trust ,the more comfortable we become with the unknown .We should become aware of the underlying want and let it go. If we do not have expectations negative and positive while waiting, we won’t feel intense pain. waiting ,by nature is passive .We are waiting for things beyond our control .
And in that space of uncertainty we feel vulnerable .But when are we not vulnerable ?One can look at our entire life from birth as the waiting space for our eventual death .But in this waiting we get to explore, evolve ,and be .Coming back to the heading of this write up ,in this case we are anxiously and eagerly waiting for the outcome of the voting on 4th of June as all of us including the political parties and poll pundits are waiting for the counting of the aggregate votes of all the seven phases of the polls .This wait for counting of the votes is a painful as well as exiting thing and the wait of the people and political parties and poll experts will come to an end soon on 4th of June and this day is very special for the political parties and the people alike and the painful wait will soon be over and the results of the polls will be out as the day advances .In short we should master the art of managing wait and lessening the pain involved in waiting and present wait will come to end very soon as we have to wait for the next day of June 4.
