
Kohima, Oct 10: The Military–Civil Fusion 2.0 Seminar 2026 concluded successfully in Kohima, Nagaland, with Assam Rifles under Spear Corps marking the culmination of deliberations focused on tourism, youth empowerment and sustainable regional development.
The seminar brought together military leadership, senior state administrators and heads of various departments to explore ways to strengthen military-civil cooperation and accelerate development through coordinated institutional efforts.
Centred on the theme “Tourism and Youth Empowerment,” the seminar highlighted the potential of tourism to generate employment, promote entrepreneurship and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for young people. Participants deliberated on strategies to equip youth with relevant skills, encourage enterprise and harness the region’s tourism potential for inclusive economic growth.
The discussions also underscored the importance of stronger coordination between the armed forces and civil administration in addressing regional development priorities.
