Srinagar, Oct 5: A man was killed and two others injured after a tractor they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge at Manchatter Kralpora in border district of Kupwara on Monday.

Officials said the tractor, which was travelling from Manchatter Kralpora, fell into a deep gorge causing injuries to three persons.
The injured persons were shifted to SDH Kralpora for treatment, where from one of the critically injured was referred to GMC Handwara for specialized treatment.
However, he was declared dead on arrival in the GMC Handwara.
The deceased was identified as Tahir Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Ahad Dar, resident of Kralpora.
The injured were identified as Ghulam Qadir Ganie son of Mohammad Sidiq Ganie, resident of Manchatter and Ghulam Qadir Ganie son of Abdul Rahim Ganie, resident of Manchatter.
Police have registered a case and taken up investigation.
