In this world created by God from the first day till now, all the species that have originated are of different types. There is a world beyond this world which we call the afterlife. Saints and sages have tried to teach the common man the lessons of philosophy by creating a correlation between this world and the afterlife.
If we think of the afterlife, there appear to be three main entities namely God himself, the messenger of God and the third one is the devil. If we think of our world, there is man himself who has authority and power over all other beings, be it man like him or be it other creatures like animals.
But my point today is different.
Till now, no one has ever tortured a human being. You may have never heard or even read that a single animal in the forest tortured a human being or a single aquatic animal or an amphibian has ever tortured a human being. This has never happened.
Urdu poet Jigar Moradabadi once said:
Aadmi aadmi se miltaa hai
Dil magar kam kisi se miltaa hai
That is, every person when he steps out of his home, comes into contact with others, meets others, talks to them, chats with them, but it does not happen with every person that his mind always matches the person whom he is talking to or with whom he or she is spending time. Being in someone's company doesn't mean their choices match.
In the agricultural field where the cultivation is carried out, we can see that while harvesting wheat, even the grass grows along with the crop without it being sown. Should we take it to mean that if we do not want the grass, we should throw away the wheat too? Absolutely not!
The same thing happens with humans. When a person meets another person, there is no certainty that the nature of both of them will match.
Even without such certainty, these two people behave well with each other, talk to each other properly and behave honestly with each other.
But now, forgetting all this, man has developed a hobby of using each other rather than living in each other's company. And since every man is very good at using each other in this way, he feels that he is using the other one and the other one cannot use him. He forgets the law of nature that this candle burns at both the ends. It is a two sided affair. That is, if this man keeps such a thought about the other in his mind, the other man also keeps the same thought in his mind.
The mentality of using each other ultimately motivates a man to torture another man.
Be sure if you are a human being, consider each other as human beings instead of considering each other as ATMs. If you cannot give up the tendency to take advantage of each other, it is okay, but at least give up the tendency and mentality of harming and torturing each other.
Ultimately, the essence of life is that you live your life as a human being, act like a human being and behave like a human being.
