Lt Gen Pendharkar reviews operational preparedness in Nagaland

Dimapur, April 23: Lieutenant General Abhijit S Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Spear Corps, reviewed the operational preparedness of the Corps of Military Police at Dimapur Military Station in Nagaland.

During his visit, the Army Commander assessed key aspects of training, discipline, and operational readiness of the personnel. He was briefed on ongoing activities, security measures, and the overall functioning of the Military Police units deployed in the region.
Lt Gen Pendharkar interacted with the troops and lauded their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to duty. He appreciated their efforts in maintaining high standards of discipline and ensuring effective security operations under challenging conditions.
He emphasized the importance of continued vigilance, enhanced training, and operational efficiency to meet emerging security challenges in the region. The GOC also encouraged the personnel to uphold the highest traditions of the Indian Army while serving in sensitive and strategically important areas.
