The second day of the Lolab Premier League witnessed eight teams from across the valley go head to head in pursuit of the championship.
In the matches held at Chandigam, One Sports Saiwan put up a mammoth total of 195/4 and restricted Game Changers Khurhama to only 137/3 to win the tie. Mehboob Khan, a local boy of Saiwan was adjudged Man of the Match. In the second match Lolab Reds, Kuligam defeated United Club Sogam with Javeed Ah Dar walking away with the Man of the Match award.
At Tarich, Cheerkote Cricket Club defeated Valley Vipers Lolab in the first match. Rising Star Tarich also won handsomely against Vintage Club Jaggerpora.
Blue Star Dorusa won their tie against DCC Dardpora by a thin margin of 10 runs with Owais as the Man of the Match. YMC Lolab Tekipora powered by a great innings by Sheikh Junaid, won against Lolab Royals.
At Cheepora ground, Blue Squad, Saiwan took an easy victory over Elite Cricket Club Lolab, on the back of a stupendous performance by a 16 year old star, Masroor.
All the matches drew in huge crowds as the teams put on a great cricketing show for their fans which left them asking for more and eagerly waiting for tomorrow's matches.
