
Srinagar, April 9: The Kashmir Mountain Biking Association (KMBA) successfully organized a Specially-Abled Wheelchair Race from SKICC to Botanical Garden, Srinagar. The event aimed to promote inclusion, resilience, and equal opportunities in sports.
The race was officially flagged off by Ajaz Ahmad Bhat (SSP Traffic City Srinagar). More than 30 specially-abled participants competed across different age categories, demonstrating remarkable determination, courage, and an inspiring sporting spirit.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Mathoora Masoom (Director Floriculture, Kashmir) as the Chief Guest. Along with Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, she felicitated the winners and appreciated the efforts of all participants and organizers. In the Above 18 (Boys) Irshad Ahmad Bhat Secured first while as Rameez Raja got second and Javid Ahmad Tak gotten thirdplace
In the Above 18 (Girls): Nusrat Rasool got ist place while as Rukhsana secured second and Nusrat Ara got third.
In the Under 18 (Boys):
Zaid Bin Adil got First Place While as 2nd – Nawaz.

Mushtaq Bhat – Vice President, JK CycLing Association Akber Khan – National Medalist Cycling, Fahim Ali, Zahid Iqbal Rehana Bhat Muneer Ahmad and Roshan Ara were present on the occasion.
