
Jammu, Feb 22: A sniffer dog of 2 Para SF named Tyson was the first to confirm the presence of terrorists in the operation zone.
“The elite German Shepherd was the first to charge towards a terrorist hideout (dhok) and sustained a bullet injury during the exchange of fire. Despite being shot, Tyson continued advancing, demonstrating exceptional courage and loyalty in the line of duty,” a security official said.
He helped the forces establish contact with the terrorists. He was later airlifted for medical treatment and is now safe and recovering.
