Kangpokpi, June 1: In a swift humanitarian operation, Red Shield Division under Spear Corps, in coordination with CRPF and Manipur Police, successfully evacuated a seriously injured civilian from a remote village in Kangpokpi district.

The joint teams undertook the rescue under challenging circumstances, braving adverse weather conditions and difficult, treacherous terrain to reach the affected individual in time.
After stabilising the situation on ground, the injured civilian was carefully evacuated and shifted for urgent medical treatment, ensuring timely access to life-saving care.
Officials said the coordinated response reflects strong synergy between the Army, Central Armed Police Forces, and state police in responding to emergencies in remote and inaccessible areas.
The operation once again highlights the role of security forces not only in maintaining peace and security but also in providing critical humanitarian assistance during medical emergencies in far-flung regions.
