Itanagar, Feb 4: A Joint Military-Civil Trek to Topo Gonov in Arunachal Pradesh was successfully conducted from January 28 to February 1, 2026, bringing together soldiers and civilians in a unique exercise of physical endurance, cultural connection, and national integration.

The participants trekked along ancestral routes, navigating rugged terrain and high-altitude trails, symbolically reconnecting with the region’s heritage while strengthening bonds between the armed forces and local communities. The trek culminated in a Flag-In Ceremony at the summit, where the national flag was hoisted amidst a display of patriotic fervor and mutual respect.
Organizers highlighted that the initiative promotes military–civil fusion, demonstrating how collaboration between defense personnel and civilians can foster community harmony, resilience, and nation-building.
