Jmu’s Soham Kamotra becomes first ‘Int’l Master of Chess’ in J&K

Soham Kamotra an ex player of Vivek Chess Academy creates history in J&K Chess. He become India's latest International Master. He also becomes the first and the only International master from the state of Jammu & Kashmir at Abu Dhabi.
Vivek Bharti, his first coach trained him for 5-6 years. After this he take coaching from other coaches outside the state.
Soham Kamotra become 125th International Master of India and first ever of Jammu and Kashmir
Vivek Chess Academy honoured him with cash prize of Rs 11000 at Hotel Nek below Gumat with All J&K Chess Association Members.
