Srinagar, June 1: The J&K Transport Commissioner has cancelled the motor vehicle aggregator license of M/s ANI Technologies Private Limited, popularly known as OLA with immediate effect.

The order, issued by Transport Commissioner Vishesh Paul Mahajan, stated that the license (No. 0001) granted to M/s ANI Technologies Private Limited (OLA) was revoked after its registered branch office in Jammu was found to be “non-functional” and “non-traceable” during an inspection.
According to the order, as per the conditions laid down in the licence, the registered office of M/s ANI Technologies Private Limited (OLA), situated at ABC Building, New Plot, Jammu, near Krishna Building (Looks Salon), J&K has not been operationalized and the company has not commenced its operations from the said premises.
The status of the Branch Office has been recorded as "Non-Functional" as the office was found to be non-traceable during the inspection conducted by the team of the Regional Transport Officer, Jammu, on 13.12.2024 and three show cause notices/Suspension Notice in this regard vide no. TCJK-Gen/509/2023-07/4862-66 dated 01.12.2025, TCJK-Gen/509/2023-07/3054 58 dated 02.04.2026 and TCJK-Gen/509/2023-07/3777-82 dated 30.04.2026 were served to the organization.
“No reply to the notices was received by the office till date. Now, in view of the facts and circumstances stated hereinabove, I, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, JKAS, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me vide S.O. 453 dated 29.08.2023, and under Rule/Section 19(1) of the Motor Vehicle Aggregator Rules, 2023, hereby cancel Motor Vehicle Aggregator License No. 0001 dated 21.09.2023, with immediate effect,” reads the order.
