By the Department of Youth Services and Sports, although the students participated in various sports competitions under the inter-school level and participated in the competitions under the inter-zonal level and district level,these childrens in the district level and there is a lot of activity in displaying skills and under this link, inter-zonal level athletics competitions organized by the department in Budgam district of central Kashmir have been started in which more than 661 athletes from 12 zones of the district have actively participated with great enthusiastically. During which the childrens performed brilliantly in the great sports competition Muneeb Ashraf from Bkp zone in High Jump,Anayat Iqbal from Soibug zone in Long Jump,Zeeshan Thokar from Dreygam in Triple jump, Syed Zeeshan of Soibug zone in 100 metre and other events with full swing like Long jump, 200 meters and javelion throw etc.
It is clear that the Incharges of District Sports activities at the sports stadium, Ghulam Hassan Khanday and Shakeel u Rehman apart from Senior Master Manjeet Singh inaugurated the opening day Events.It should be noted that from tomorrow, girls of different ages will participate in athletics competitions,while sports activities are also going on at the inter-school level in all the 12 zones of the district.
