All fruits contain different vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that are essential for the growth and proper functioning of the body. Seasonal fruits are especially beneficial because they provide fresh nutrients required by various organs.
In this article, I am going to discuss the health benefits of cherries.
Cherry is a small, round, fleshy fruit that belongs to the Prunus genus. It contains a hard seed at the centre and is surrounded by juicy edible flesh. Cherries are usually red, dark red, or pink in colour. Kashmir is known for producing several varieties of cherries, many of which are exported to different parts of the country. During the cherry season, fruit vendors sell cherries along highways and at picnic spots, generating employment and supporting local growers.

Rich in Vitamin C, which strengthens the immune system and acts as an antioxidant.
Contains Vitamin A, which supports healthy eyesight.
High in dietary fibre, which promotes healthy digestion and may help relieve constipation.

May reduce inflammation and lower the risk of certain chronic diseases.
Helps improve sleep quality due to the presence of natural melatonin.
May support brain health and help reduce the risk of Alzheimer's disease.

Tart cherry juice may help relieve muscle pain and aid recovery after exercise.
Suggestion
We should include seasonal fruits and vegetables in our daily diet. They provide essential vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients required for good health.
