Kupwara, Oct 20: Security forces have launched a massive search operation in the Dhanush Point area of Shalabatto Nar in Jumagund, Kupwara, following reports of suspected infiltrators being spotted in the area.

An exchange of fire has also been reported during the ongoing operation, with troops of the 21 Grenadiers involved in the search and cordon operation.
The suspected infiltrators are believed to be hiding in a dense forest area, prompting security forces to intensify searches across the surrounding terrain.
The operation was underway at the time of filing this report, and further details were awaited.
