Gulmarg: The lack of toilet facility at Kongdori, the first phase of Gulmarg Gondola has come under severe criticism with the tourists as well locals, demanding immediate redressal of the grievance.
The lack of toilet at the first phase of Gandola was causing immense hardships to the people, the locals as per Kashmir News Service (KNS) said.
“On one hand, the Tourism department and administration claim to have taken measure for the promotion of tourism, but on the other hand, such absences are putting the question mark on their actions,” the locals said.
Pertinently, Government had started a campaign of Swachh Bharat Mission, a nationwide campaign. However, the locals aid that despite such measures, the absence of toilet facility still exists at gondola, thus leaving the tourists as well as tourism players to suffer.
Meanwhile, the tourists as per KNS correspondent said that Gulmarg is the crown of India but the lack of such basic facilities put a question mark on the working of the authorities.
