GoC SpearCorps Kaila reviews security situation at Srikona formation

Srikona (Assam), June 3: General Officer Commanding (GOC) Spear Corps visited an Assam Rifles formation at Srikona in Assam to review operational preparedness and assess the prevailing security situation in the region.

During the visit, the GOC was briefed on the current security environment, operational deployments, and ongoing measures being undertaken to maintain stability in the area. He reviewed the overall readiness of the formation and interacted with field commanders on various aspects of counter-insurgency operations and border security management.
The GOC also interacted with troops on the ground and lauded their professionalism, discipline, and unwavering commitment towards maintaining peace and tranquility in the region. He appreciated the force for its continued efforts in challenging operational conditions and its role in ensuring security and stability.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining high levels of operational vigilance, adaptability, and coordination in view of evolving security dynamics. The GOC further encouraged personnel to continue their dedicated service with the same spirit of excellence and commitment.
