Dimapur, Oct 28: The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Spear Corps on Wednesday marked the 80th Infantry Day by laying a wreath at the Spear Corps War Memorial, honouring the courage, supreme sacrifice and dedication of Infantry soldiers.

The ceremony paid tribute to the brave personnel who laid down their lives in the service of the nation and reaffirmed the Army’s commitment to upholding the proud traditions of the Infantry.
On the occasion, the GOC interacted with troops and commended them for their professionalism, unwavering resolve and high standards of operational readiness.
