GOC reviews L0C readiness in Naushera Sector

Rajouri, Feb 13: Lieutenant General P.K. Mishra, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC), White Knight Corps, visited the forward areas in the Naushera Sector to undertake a comprehensive review of the prevailing security environment and operational preparedness along the Line of Control (LoC).
During the visit, the GOC assessed the ground situation and operational deployments in the challenging and rugged terrain. He interacted with troops deployed along the LoC and was briefed on the high level of operational readiness, intensive training schedules, and enhanced surveillance mechanisms aimed at strengthening precision engagement and overall combat effectiveness.
Lieutenant General Mishra commended the troops for their unwavering dedication, professionalism, and steadfast commitment to safeguarding the nation’s borders under demanding conditions. He emphasized the need for relentless vigilance, uncompromising preparedness, and continuous professional excellence to effectively counter emerging security challenges.The visit reaffirmed the Indian Army’s firm resolve to maintain peace and stability along the Line of Control while ensuring robust defence preparedness at all times.
