Ganderbal, April 29: Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) Ganderbal organised a series of zone-wise sports activities under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Abhiyan to promote fitness and awareness against drug abuse.

In Zone Kangan, a Kabaddi tournament for U-14 boys was conducted, witnessing enthusiastic participation from young students. Zone Ganderbal hosted a Badminton Championship for girls, showcasing talent and competitive spirit. In Zone Hariganwan, Table Tennis competitions were organised, while Zone Tulmullah conducted a Mini Marathon to encourage physical fitness and mass participation.
Students from various institutions actively took part in these activities, reflecting a strong commitment towards healthy living and social awareness.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Ganderbal appreciated the efforts of the organising staff and the participation of students. He emphasized the role of sports and awareness programmes in building a drug-free and disciplined society.
